Looking for a job!!
Hello my name is Kacie Lane. I live in Washington. I'm only in 8th grade and 14 but very experienced with horses. I am very active in school with basketball and volleyball. I work hard to keep my grades up. I am looking for a job, i would like to ride barrel horses in the summer and maybe compete with them. I am participating in jr. rodeo in the following events: barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway. goat tying, and steer daubing. I have been riding horses for 7 years now. I also ride english. I show western and english, i also jump. I would like to just get the experience of working for a farm, or riding for them whether its training, hot walking, competing, trail rides, or just doing simple tasks.

Deer Creek Meadows offers riding lessons for 6 yrs old and up in Dressage, Huntseat, Jumping and Western Pleasure. We also offer all around Horse Care Lessons for the first time Owner who would like to keep his/her Horse at Home instead of Boarding. We are not a High Class Showbarn, but a Family oriented lets be solid in the basics and most of all have Fun Barn. We do not have expensive or showy Horses/Ponies, but solid citisens who already spend their life as hard working in either Childrens Camps or in Mennonite/Amish communities who when they could not work for them anymore were thrown away as just so much Horse Meat. With Folks never realizing how much these Guys still have to give on a Part Time basis. We combine our Horse Sanctuary with a riding school to impart our Knowledge and help defray the cost of maintaining those Members of the Horse Society who were deemed too old and useless to be of anymore use to anyone. We are not a non profit Sanctuary, I pay for everything out of my own pocket (and it's not easy) so donations ( Sweet Feed, Senior Feeds, Hay, Wormers, Equipment) are always welcome. Helmets are required at all times when mounted.

All Around Barrel/Pole/Roping Horse


Rascal is a 17 year old Bay colored Quarter Horse, her registered name is Chantachick. Rascal has been running barrels for at least the last 10 years and knows what she's in the arena to do. Rascal is very spirited for being 17 years old, don't let her age fool you, she can still go, but she will need an experienced rider. Rascal has also been used for trail rides and working cattle and has been around every form of farm equipment. Could make a possible roping prospect. Rascal would be perfect for a younger, experienced rider who wants to go little faster, or would make a great trail/every day riding horse. Rascal ties, clips, loads in a trailer and stands well. Rascal is UTD on shots and worming. I have been hauling Rascal all summer to NBHA events and to EKHA events. Rascal is running 3D times and placing in the 4D. I also use Rascal for poles, kegs, flags and other speed events at the EKHA shows, she does very well in the poles and kegs. Rascal has been roped off of before but while I've had her had not, until recently. I've started to breakaway rope off of her and she does very well. Walks and back in the box very well and tracks steers and calves really well. For more pictures or info just contact me. I'm asking $2000 but am willing to negotiate on price or would consider a trade if you have a younger started or finished barrel prospect.

Looking for horse that is pretty much broke completetly. leeds, by rein legs and voice. i have dogs, a 3 year old and live on a main road with high traffic. I ride both english and western. I am looking mainly for pleasure riding. I want a safe horse to trail ride and areana work/ jump. I baby my horses like my child. I don't want to spend more than $900.00 I know the economy is bad and in better times horses would be worth more. But they are leisure animals for hobby. I want a tall lean muscular horse in great health, and have been a horse owner. I prefer a friesian or throughbred, hanovarian or that type of personality. will consider a cross.

I own a acre well maintained yard with lots of land surrounding.
