14H/600lbs at 10 months old - should mature 15-16H / 1200lbs.

Imprinted at birth, he is friendly and loves attention. Easy to work with - Halter broke; stands tied; used to clippers to do his bridle path and body clipping; has worn a fly mask and baby blanket without issues; easy to groom including all four feet and legs; easy to lead and back; loads easily up a ramp into a trailer and backs out - will even back up the ramp into the trailer! This colt has also been worked with Clinton Anderson natural horsemanship ground work to flex to both sides and down; desensitized to the swinging rope all around and on him; will disengage the hind quarters and fore quarters. Khiowa has better ground manners and training at 5 months old than some adult horses!

This colt could win easily at the PtHA Halter and Color classes now with a performance career in Western Pleasure, Reining, Hunter/Jumper, or endurance later. Show him at the Arabian Horse shows in Sport Horse - he is most definately has the conformation and movement to win at a variety of disciplines!!

This beautiful 15.2 and growing paint Gelding has had 60 days of groundwork (worked on him every day!) He has been under saddle and has been ridden. He is currently receiving professional training. He gets along great with other horses. Stands for farrier. Cross-ties. Current on all shots. Negative Coggins. Teeth floated August 4. Wolve tooth out August 4. Beautiful strong feet! Beautiful Gait. He currently is pastured and has a stall during the night. He is hayed and gets grain and a vitamin supplement everyday.

REASON FOR SELLING/TRADE: Would be willing to trade for broke gelding. I found out I am pregnant and do not have the time to properly train him. I see my horse every day and have time to spend with him, but he needs training and I cannot let him just sit in the pasture, he is too nice for that!!

We are looking for a nice quiet horse for my husband and daughter to trail ride. Needs to be able to be ponied since my daughter is still very young. Preferably a colored, like a paint, appy, palamino, buckskin, or grulla. Not too picky on color, just don't really want a plain brown or black since our other horses are blanketed appaloosas. We would like a horse under age 10, a quarter horse build, no arabs or gaited horses please.
